DFFOO GL (Challenge from Alexander CHAOS) Bartz, Aphmau, Sazh
Bahamut summon, General Leo EX+3LB
Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB. Bartz has his bloom passive, WoI passive, and 3x Simple Mastery Boost ** artifacts. Aphmau has 3x Royal Puppeteer ** artifacts and her bloom passives. Sazh has his sphere and character boards
We all admit that Alexander has lots of bullshit mechanics. Somehow, I feel that I want to see if I can find a team that goes through all phases
- 1st Luminous Barrier: 50k
- 2nd Luminous Barrier: 65k x2
- 3rd Luminous Barrier and beyond: 99,9999 x3
If you don't shave the BRV, Alexander will use Divine Judgment+ which will neuter your BRV gain, Elude (low chances of it getting debuff) and give Alexander an unbreakable DEF aura. My answer to that is that to shave all these BRV is Bartz.
Pre-Mastery Phase
Bartz is great but he needs 1 uses of his skills to achieve Simple Mastery (which offers another nice attack aura boost for the party. He is pretty slow at his speed tier on the low end. I swap him out for friend Leo. Thanks to consecutive turns for Aphmau and Sazh. I am able to sneak in 2x Master Blade before Boss uses Divine Judgement. I have Leo uses S1 for his Precision Strike debuff. After Divine Judgment is unleashed, Leo delays it a further 2 turns before Bartz can take his sweet time for Mastery.
God of BRV Shaving in his best form
When Alexander set its 2 barriers phase at 65k, the BRV gain was easily managed by the team thanks to Aphmau's consecutive turns (free turn HP+/BRV+ from her EX) or Sazh's Cold Blood EX. Bartz can simply neuter it with his Missile. BRV guard whoever Alexander is targeting as it will use its Exculpation HP attack. Fortunately, God Sazh survives that. When I have reached the 3rd barrier phase, after shaving the first 99999, it set it's 2nd 99999, I summon Bahamut and shave the BRV while the summon.
Have Aphmau heal up the party with her BRV+(Mnejing) after Divine Judgment. I was watching Alexander setting itself up for the triple 99999 BRV gain and watch it being shred to zero (or 2 actually) thanks to Bartz's Missile+. Finally, the mighty Alexander has fallen.
