DFFOO [JP] A random Enna Kros FR has appeared, so I put her beside Seymour and Ashe
I gave her FR boards already, so might as well max her FR lol.
Since you want Seymour to hit a target or involve a target with 80%- or 50%- HP, the logical way of maximizing profit is just to reduce target HP as quickly as possible.
Everyone knows Enna Kros has some explosive DPS and some of the highest one shot potential at the end of a FT and it would possibly remain so for some time. When frontloading that DPS however, it becomes a very powerful tool to achieve the goal of reducing enemy HP very close to 50%.
So pairing another high firepower DPS with Seymour seems a very good way
to go.
Ashe:
My Ashe has no FR enhancement, as usual lol.
This time I put in Ashe as the partner for those two. She serves four purposes here with this team, in particular relation to Enna Kros:
1. Holy Enchanter for Enna Kros FR
Enna Kros does not party enchant Holy and Dark, so to avoid occupying two CAs to use her FR, most likely you would use a Holy Enchanter like Ashe/Minwu/Eiko with Dark Enchant LDCA, unless you are using Xande or Totto BT at the same time.
2. Queen's Order for strong HP dmg up
Enna Kros have much less of a problem now than her LD debut of reaching max dmg now due to the personal buff giving her some BRV consumption reduction. Though it can be further improved by having Ashe's Queen Order on and Cait Sith's LDCA used here (unfortunately it dropped off this time).
3. HP+ refills EX and also manipulate turns
Ashe helps Enna Kros by pulling her turn to the front, offsetting the action delay she suffers from using her EX. Since this can be controlled at will as to when you want to use this for a refill, it should not clash with Enna Kros' own RNG instant Ex refill.
4. CC with Paralysis
Ashe's own EX has paralysis. When you pair her EX refill with Enna Kros, which deletes turns and pull Seymour's turn up to use his LD for AOE 2 turn delay, the bosses should be brought to control pretty well, unless they are consecutive turn teleporters.
Additional notes:
Ashe's Ex is actually quite dmging, so don't hesitate to use it on the last turn of FT. I have seen it reached 13m in previous run when she was the one to receive that last turn after Seymour BT.
On that note, the good thing about Enna Kros + Seymour is that it does not have to be Seymour dealing the finishing blow. Since Enna Kros is quite capable of finishing the fight (though her LD is ST so beware), you can leave a turn or two for her after Seymour's BT. So there is flexibility as well.
Obviously if you want to have even higher dmg, you can always swap her out with someone like Kain or Raines, whose BT alone would net you 30% HP dmg cap up.
This pairing has some flexibility to it. If you are dealing with some really squishy adds, then maybe Raines for the additional 20% cap up on launches is better to ST burst down the boss while keeping the adds on low HP. Seymour with Kain would generally have even better AoE dmg coverage and push enemy HP below thresholds faster.
Using Seymour's BT takes some practice and precision, especially when the boss is not ready to proc all of his follow-up yet. Sometimes you have to front load some heavier AoEs, sometimes using more ST with S1 first (S1 reaches 8 dumps at 80% already). If the adds respawn or bosses regain HP as phase change, you would need to adapt to those changes think about which attack is best to push them to the next threshold.
I tested him in places like Spiritus Pandemonium and Ultimecia (Griever version in Ch 9 pt 2), I think he is quite capable at dealing with those situations. Though he is by no means a braindead BT character.
