DFFOO [JP][Beatrix IW][Alt run] Mere elemental lockouts would not stop a god
41Was an idea when I first saw this chapter: What if we just blow it up before it puts on more shields?
So a certain god is here to lend me some strength and smite the enemies.
OBVIOUSLY, I would like to use the Hope FR way to boost to really high FR% before raining down Enna Kros' wrath, but since he does not want to give me his FR, I will resort to less straight forward ways.
1 BRV dmg elemental lockouts, while a nuisance, should not be such an insurmountable obstacle that can stop you from using elemental characters. With a diverse roster and tools, there are a quite a few ways that can enable you to just outright ignore its existence.
A minor note on Enna Kros though. Since she has a mechanic of rounding up the BRV numbers to the nearest thousand, she actually deals at a minimum of 1000 BRV dmg in this case.
The setup:
This setup pretty much ignores every bit of element related concern. Other than using Xande and Ashe calls for Enna Kros FR that has a specific purpose, the elements used here are all over the place. Holy, thunder, dark, ice, earth even a bit of water on Lunafreya. If you do 1 BRV dmg anyways, might as well use all of them.
The idea is to use Sherlotta BT together with Cait Sith LDCA to create a big BRV battery per hit to generate enough BRV for all of Enna Kros hits to reach max HP dmg. This is the crucial part for Enna Kros to nuke the enemies before they put on the final shields. If the subject is not Enna Kros, Sherlotta BT alone should suffice.
The Prishe friend here is for contingency or additional support. In case the desired effect is not enough, her BT making double BRV hits would for sure make her hit the cap. In the end she was not necessary and could not get in in time, since the second tree was almost at a point that would trigger a second leave dance and killing Lunafreya before she could regen.
Enna Kros needs to move the most here or the enchant CAs/Cait Sith LDCA would fall off. For this reason, Ashe LDCA with a 6 turn duration instead of some others like Minwu's.
Given enough time to regen, you can tank one threshold trigger attack at a time in the face and be perfectly okay. In the event that one of them is about to do it again before a character is ready, which happened in this one, just summon and stop all incoming dmg.
Enna's RNG has very little to do with the setup this time. The EX procs are nice to use for deleting turns when she has Luna's swiftness buff (which negates the action delay up). It is not necessary to use it to break the shields though, her S2 AOE is more than enough. Since this boss does not have a lot of HP, you don't actually need those 60-80m setups to vaporize them.
It is always fun to do it with the "not intended way". Give it try.
