Chaos is here and it is getting really interesting.
Theorized a few scenarios of how he can work in some weird ways, but upon quite a lot of testing Jack turns out to have quite a few different qualities than I expected. There are quite a few little things to know in order to play him more effectively.

This run focuses on mostly his active dmg and BT phase, though I will write down some of the tests findings.

First of all the bosses:
Medusa heads x2
Force Mechanics:
+5%: On player action
0%: 100% Magic BRV dmg reduction (you can still deal HP dmg tho)
FA:
If the boss remains broken as they are using this:
normal +version: AOE magic BRV only attack (+HP attack if ++version if they are not broken or recovered from breaks as they use this)
It buffs all bosses with SPD up and inflict mBRV down on your char
It additionally buffs them with Action Delay Down and Action Delay Up on you if the ++version is used instead.

FT: 10 turns
Blocks your BRV recovery effects by 99%

Weakness: (cancels FT)
Entering FT with a FA that deals melee BRV dmg

Threshold Mechanics:
When below 90/70/50/30/10%:
They would use Snake Roar, which is an enormous HP shield with 100% range BRV dmg reduction and at the same time makes you suffer from no BRV gain.

Among these, when below 90/70/30%:
They would use flamethrower (or +version when not in break state). Normal version is an AOE BRV attack, but +version is a heavy hitting BRV+HP attack that buffs themselves with BRV dmg up and inflicts SPD down.

Outside of these mechanics, it usually uses Snake bite. Snake bite+ additionally helps the boss recover from breaks and it buffs them with HP dmg up and inflicts DEF down onto your char.

About the boss:
Boss is squishy and seemingly easy, but it can kill you before you even get a chance to enter FT.
The biggest gimmick of this boss is you have be very on point on when they are broken and when they are recovering from breaks. Any attacks done by them not in break or as they recover from it would mostly result in death, if you have no evasion, mitigation strats. Then there are annoying debuffs.

The threshold attack and FA as off-turn attacks may catch you off-guard, esp if you are using turn spammers (usually FG chargers) that does not have an attack that breaks the enemy like Selphie. Spam too happily and forgot to count when they are recovering and you will die.

Also the 5% on player action FG charge means most likely they will enter FG first. So get ready to receive their FA and preferrably let them hit 100% when they are not ready to recovery from a break.

Regarding Jack:
He is very interesting and there are a lot of nuance to how he can be played. There are also a few sets of CAs he can use.

Basic Mechanics:
The gist of his mechanic is whenever he hits someone that is broken (at or below 0 BRV), his BRV dmg would cause enemies to go into the negative number realm. The limit, is dependent on what buffs are active and it scales with Jack's mBRV. So above all else, he is a mBRV character. Get your arts, spheres, CAs and partners to maximize the -ve limit.

As far as I can tell he can have two sets of buff active at the same time. Without BT, his LD and EX buff both hold 200% scaling of his mBRV and it stacks. So he can normally get enemy to 400% -ve BRV.
His BT buff "Chaosbringer", replaces his "Lightbringer" EX buff when BT is active. Using EX during that time would refresh Chaosbringer duration instead. Chaosbringer increases the limit to 400%, so a total of 600% at max power with LD.
His EX buff only lasts 2 turns but his BT buff is the same as his BT aura, which is 6 turns. However! This buff is actually extendable. So something like Sazh/Hope buffing would extend it to 7 turns (or 3 for Lightbringer).

Without BT, the -ve BRV contributes to his last HP hit of the follow-up. It ignores the normal HP dmg cap limit as well.
With BT, the 30% of the -BRV would be added as an extra HP dmg component to ALL sources of HP dumps, including your allies. So he just makes off-turn / launches even more broken.

Other interactions:
Bear in mind that -ve BRV follows normal break rules, so in 5 turns or so enemies would recover. Since Jack does not rebreak, I would advise breaking enemies not at the same time.
(1) Sephiroth BT/rebreaks and break recover would reset the BRV. Only Jack can inflict -ve BRV.

(2) Outside of synergy, you can still get to 6-700K -ve BRV.

(3) Off-turn -ve BRV:
Jack's BRV dmg is the only source of -BRV. Using his BRV command in launches actually would net you some -ve BRV. Technically off-turn BRV is possible. Though his normal BRV attack merely has 3 hits, so the "gain" is rather slow. However you can somehow boost this with:
(a) Prishe LDCA/+BT, x2/4 BRV hits
(b) BRV dmg cap up actually matters
So technically you can have a non-rebreaker turn hogger like Papalymo or Shelke with Selphie launch and keep Jack juicing up the -ve BRV. Or you can have Jack help every 5 turns or so.
