DFFOO [JP][Character Enhancement MQ part 2/3] Sherlotta/Yuri/Ciaran friend bomb
6I have Ciaran up to FR, but I am too lazy to finish his gear and summon boards lol. I don't have many other CC characters, so I just borrowed a 3T Ciaran friend.
Character Enhancement Campaign Mission Quest part 2/3

Kuja IW boss is not hard to kill. The problem is one wrong step can potentially lead to a restart:
1. Boss requires enchant, otherwise it resists all attack types
2. While needing enchant, they counterattack anything that is not Holy.
3. The counter inflicts blind.
4. Most importantly, if only one of them dies at a time, the remaining one would resurrect the dead one to full HP. This means you must kill both of them AT THE SAME TIME in one action.
Due to the limitations of CC characters and the existence of 1-3, getting any enchant other than Holy only causes more trouble, as there is not a CC character that counterattacks or react to dodges. Obviously if you use a friend unit for this purpose, that would be another story.
4 is the main focal point here. Using split or full AOE is advised, otherwise uneven HP dmg may lead to resurrection of the one dead boss. In accordance with the available CC characters, while Keiss and Layle can be used, ST launches with amplified dmg may not be exactly easy to control.
Yuri:
The most obvious choice is Yuri. If you use his FR, he party enchants Holy. If you use his BT, he gives 100% party evasion. Either way he would help you deal with some of the boss mechanics. His BRV+ hits hard and most of his attacks are largely even AOEs, so he is the prime choice.
Sherlotta + Ciaran:
Sherlotta and Ciaran are mostly just FR HP% booster and aura bots. Sherlotta's S1 actually grants you full Ciaran FR bonus + the extra 50% from the properties of her S1. So you can get setup a huge bomb phase for Yuri and end the fight with 3-4 actual attacks. That really benefited my 3T Ciaran friend. Since his EX/FR does not grant 5 stacks of drops of Myrrh, you actually need to spend one turn to get him ready for your party to enjoy that juicy extra 50% cap up from his FR. The longer setup is a drawback for him to be used as a friend.
Just to clarify, my Yuri is only at BT+0 (technically base BT because of UW). Therefore he is missing all of the cap up as well. Fortunately the Sherlotta FR% setup was huge, so it did not matter much.
