DFFOO [JP][King Heretic Raid][alt run] CHAOS ... bahamut and hotdog lover ending the LD era
15Seems like a good place to use Caius or Vayne so I chose CHAOS and Bahamut to end an era.
Caius is actually incredibly suitable for dealing with the boss mechanics and take advantage of the common use of Divine Bahamut summon now because of the extra layer of break bonus.
The basic idea is to utilize the BRV refund from Selphie and break bonus BRV refund from Caius and Zell's continuous (re)breaks to refund to full after every launch happened. As for Y'shtola she would just be herself and battery every one anyways. So technically other than the turns of Caius using Giga Graviton and refund before the launch and not after, the team should just continuously get a crap ton of BRV even when Selphie and her BRV gain up is gone.
Zell would just has his mini-burst phase while Caius's BT is in effect for maximum BRV refund, until Y'shtola needs to get some turns and refresh the orb.
And because of Caius's doom, Behemoth should only get 2 turns in total. All of your debuffs that has a duration more than 2 should permanently stay, thus Selphie's Rapture would be in effect from start to finish.
No matter who gets the turn after the auto break on Behemoth, it will always get delayed. Y'shtola can use stone+, Zell and Caius rebreaks.
Caius also has the added benefit of occupying Bahamut's buff slots with 4 framed debuffs. So it ended up having one buff only after it gets its first turn.
It will also never have any chance to regen HP with the buff because it will just be immediately rinsed off before it can get another turn.
In hindsight, Kadaj's CA is probably not needed because I could just eat the first two attacks by behemoth and use a Laguna CA for extra dmg boost. Also I pressed the button too fast sometimes and missed Zell's proc or did something wrong lol. So it is not the most optimal play of this team. This was only a trial run (hence I forgot to swap out the Cid Raines CA lol) but it ran much more smoothly than I expected. I would like to perfect this but Selphie friend is just kind of rare to find lol.
The time took a bit longer but turn wise it is not even close to the turn count limit and it is really safe to use. It took less Zell cycle to beat the boss to my surprise.
