Not too different from the JP version, but instead of Exdeath friend, this time I used an Ace friend. I tried Tifa instead of Zell and Yuna instead of Ace, but it would seem Zell / Ace combo edges out a bit.

Using Tifa would naturally take down the add pretty fast, but Tifa can't really take advantage of Vayne's BT, so there is little reason to BT early.

Using Zell over Tifa means extra heavy DEF down, consistent rebreaking to push the boss / add away and Vayne BT+ follow-up triggering consistently.

Vayne, Y'sh, Zell combo literally works all the way from early, mid to late Lufenia+ until the very last one which is King's raid that I used this team again. Obviously there are some fights that you won't take them, but they are effective enough to be used when Y'shtola and Zell get their C90.

At this point in time, C80 Zell using EX to get Meteor Combo is not really that great of a choice. So he would run out of it midway. If you use an Agrias friend and stun the boss to negate its dodging capabilities, you can opt for using burning rave and AoE both the boss and add instead, thus saving some uses of Meteor Combo when you can only hit one of them.

Since Y'shtola and Vayne can both uptick the orb, you can just alternate their EX use whenever the orb gets low. Just remember to actually deplete their S1/S2 uses beforehand or it would not count as actually recovering skill uses. Hold onto your EX if necessary. There is more than enough leeway for you to use two turn hoggers that are Zell and Vayne and still get the orb in control.

If Yuna friend is used over Ace, just try to Vayne BT with 7 turns of BT+ left. Since you would get her BT HP dmg cap up on all 4 (5 if LD+follow-up) dumps for Vayne, you would get 700K per Vayne turn.

If you want an extra safety net, you can use Quistis over Zell. More support, delay and an extra skill recovery character. Though I would say just go ham instead lol. That's how easy this boss is with Vayne. You don't even need Agrias for stun shenanigans. Fancy turn deletion? then Zidane works as well, but that would take a bit longer and brainpower to contend with the breaks for extra Vayne follow-up.

You can take the scenic route with Exdeath, but I have done that already so I will just cut to the chase on GL with better calls and do better than what my old self could at the time on JP.

Originally wanted to get Shelke for a bit of a different route for GL, but she denied my luck with just a few pulls. May try again when Lulu comes along.
