DFFOO [JP][Shorts] Snow BT with certain characters: Prompto EX on ST and "Sherlotta, are you okay?"
44I wasn't expecting it to be this potent but here we are.
Back when Prompto got his C90 and turn his EX into 100% AoE, he has become immensely powerful against 3 targets with HP dmg up / some kind of pseudo BRV refund setup like Ursula (locked BRV) or Iroha (BRV retention).
Well not anymore. With Snow BT by his side, he doesn't need 3 targets to gather all that BRV. Just refund all the way to max dmg lol on a single target. This also applies to his follow-up, as you can see it is doing full dmg on both HP dumps every time. I imagine other follow-up attackers and similar EXs like Cid's would yield similar results and benefit the same way.
Interestingly Sherlotta's piggy bank LD staff buff also take advantage of this effect. It does not even require Ifrit's blessing or Ramza's HP cap increaser, one initial throw that deals huge dmg and suddenly her bank is refunded and currently storing 1.6 mil BRV for some reason. No reason why the next throw won't be 999999, but the second hit would still benefit from having an increaser and Ifrit's blessing because it depends on current holding BRV. That said, you can abuse this by spending all three LD first, throw once and then switch Ramza in or any HP increaser BT, then keep throwing at max dmg on both hits. Since throwing staff does not consume your piggy bank BRV, all of the HP+ should be at max dmg. I would say though, most fights end before a 2nd LD is used lol.
Potentially very broken effect with certain characters and maybe there are more obscure yet interesting combos you can do with it.
