There seems to be very frequent connection error right after this come out. The app closed or got stuck at data transfer right after the run was complete on several occasions, so this time I only aimed at getting S, going through the mechanics and not the other additional "Abyss coded" rule sets.

I am on the fence about getting things for Ashe. On one hand I do use her often, on the other I think her support capabilities are quite good already without FR/BT. Since I kinda want Sice and Strago FR, we will see if a surprise Ashe BT appears later.

This boss actually has 2 distinct FR phases and as far as I can tell you are forced to use at least 2 FRs to complete this. A slight change in format in the boss description for easier understanding. Fight is designed to be more similar to Sp. Brothers that you actually have two ways to achieve S rank.

Boss: Deep Sea Bird x2
Boss States:
A. Water (Bathe in water)
1. Absorb any elements other than Thunder/Holy
2. Resistant to all attack types
3. Cannot be broken
4. Turns cannot be deleted (but can be delayed)

There is a move called Shine Venom (AoE BRV), which would inflict a sap so potent that it would immediately make the boss get to mBRV.
"Storm Surge+", the AoE HP (guaranteed hit) attack ignores HP dmg mitigation, recover 1% of its mHP and put on BRV dmg up + DEF up. This happens periodically, so either leave them or dispel them accordingly.

B. Dark (Raining stopped)
All of the water state effects are dispelled
1. Player has no BRV gain

The dark version of the Venom attack actually inflicts poison but no sap.
Dark Surge, the HP (guaranteed hit) attack, sucks all of your current BRV as theirs and hit you with a 50% mHP gravity attack. It also buffs them with HP dmg up and SPD up.
Note that if in conjunction to the no BRV gain aura during the dark phase, unless you did something to regain BRV and had some BRV hits in between turns, most likely you would be left with 0 BRV before the suck.

Thresholds and Force Mechanics:
The boss has two different FRs, but the basic force rules are shared.
Basic FR rules and FR 1:
0%: Player BRV dmg down
30%: Player SPD down
50%: Player ATK down

FA: Storm Surge+++/Dark Surge+ (depending on which state you let them use their FR, but they are just a generic elemental BRV+HP attack)
FT: 4 turns
Water State: BRV gan before action
Dark State: Player takes HP dmg before action

Weakness: (cancel FT)
FA that deals Lightning and Thunder BRV dmg

Phase 1: 9-100%: If boss reaches FT, they will use FR 1
At QS, both bosses are at water state.
90% (Rank D): Spawn a free turn on next turn, use Storm Surge+ on turn
70% (Rank C): Change to dark state
40% : Spawn a free turn on next turn, use Dark Surge
both at 9% (B):
Both of them would be locked at a minimum of 9% HP.
Both bosses would wait for your FR/BT/summon to end, and then recover 40% mHP, immediately use FR 2 to go into a 20T FT, entering phase 2.

FR 2: Dark Surge++
Quite similar to FR 1 but cleanse all debuffs off of the bosses.

Phase 2: 0-49%/20T FT
One boss would change to water state while one would state in dark. Therefore they will start doing individual sets of attacks and all of the state aura applies at the same time (see above). Both bosses would gain both of the water and dark state FT effects of the normal one:
1. BRV gain before action
2. Player takes HP dmg before action
3. Additionally, they will spawn turns on 20/12/4 FT.
This FT cannot be dispelled through force weakness, but once this started, their 9% HP lock would be removed.

Winning condition:
There are two ways you can win:
1. Survive 20FT
2. Kill them during this 20FT

General Strat and some tips:
This fight has distinct phases and a unison phase at the end. With the dark state banning BRV gain, we are quite prone to having low DPS and breaks due to no refund in between hits.

To combat this, I would say either something like Iroha's BRV consumption reduction (remember you don't actually gain brv, you just use less, though you may want to watch out when they start sucking BRV) or going back to pure BRV dmg reliance is the way to go.

The enemies also gain a lot of BRV and deal a lot of BRV dmg. Their water state has HP dmg mitigation pierce through, but that does not mean we can't take BRV dmg reduction precautions.
Having preemptive strikes or after action traps like Minwu, their gained BRV can be neutralized. They have both on-turn HP attacks and HP sap, so some overheal or off-turn heal may offer more security. Their HP sap is stronger than a single regen, so beware of this.

Using off-turn dmg is quite ideal here, with them immune to turn deletion and having SPD ups and SPD down on us. Since they also spawn turns, deleting or paralyzing them can make them spawn another turn to compensate, but you get an additional off-turn trigger off of this.

Honestly Machina FR is a bit too strong for this lol. They dropped below 9% when I was still in FT, so I had to end it abruptly.
