Time for the final battle against water melon mutant ... I mean CoD.

After waiting for the gate to unlock with community raid kill quotas, it is time to wait for Minwu's FR ticks lol. It probably is just the emulator, not sure why the system waited for around 3s before a FR tick and you know how many ticks it has lol. Had it been functioning normally this would have been an easy sub-40m run. That and if I didn't greed DPS and charged the 2nd FG once more instead and entered FR immediately.

My strat this time aim for a specific FG threshold when popping FR. It is possible to spam FR whenever possible and win, but I like less FG charging and more efficiency out of one FR, so I went for this style instead.

Minwu/Cor/Seymour strikes again. Sherlotta is here to help me kinda ignore the attack type penalty.

Boss: CoD
Force Mechs:
+2%: Player action
0%: 10% HP poison on player (field)
30%: player auto-delay by 1 turn on action
60%: 100% HP dmg reduction outside of player FA
FA: Particle Beam (break rec./esuna/AOE Magic BRV+HP)
It also buffs CoD with BRV dmg up.

FT: 3 turns
Player 200% mBRV down
Weakness: (cancel FT)
Melee FA that has no action delay

Attack Pattern:
CoD basically follows a set pattern:
AOE 2 turn delay -- (insert ST HP poke if not broken) ST delay -- AOE BRV+HP --- AOE 2 turn delay (loop)

All of the attacks including FA can be dodged. So Edge, Rydia and Kimahri, again, can be quite good here.

Thresholds Mechs and Strategy:
1. During 80%-QS/30%-50%:
CoD would start off at QS/50% with a Stare (AOE darkness) or at 29%/79% Stare+ (AOE confusion/ 3 debuffs removal). This buff themselves with HP dmg taken down/BRV regen and DEF up.
CoD will immediately summon two tentacle adds. As long as CoD has not reached the next HP thresholds, the existence of these adds mean:
(a) they get 100% heal and cannot be killed
(b) 90% BRV dmg reduction on phy BRV attacks
When the next threshold is met (80/30%), the above effects are dispelled a new set of tentacles are summoned. This time:
(c) they can be killed
(d) 90% BRV dmg reduction on magic instead
(e) CoD's HP cannot go below 60/1%
These effects are dispelled when tentacles 2 are destroyed.
The tentacles usually just buff CoD with protect and haste. Though the second set tend to start ST HP attacking a character too.

My intention is to use off-turn dmg from Minwu and Cor to build FR. Therefore I choose to let them have a round of FT first (almost impossible to FR before they go beyond 60%) and then pop FR when theirs is within 30-60%, where my characters get auto-delayed, and the 100% HP dmg reduction was not in place yet.
Let them have the SPD buff as much as possible so I get the least amount of turns as possible with CoD AOE/ST delaying as well. For this purpose, Aerith is not there to stop the buffs. I usually use Hope CA and WoL CA to stuff myself with buffs so people don't get confused when hitting the 79% threshold, but sometimes off-turn dmg goes too hard. It is not that fatal though since usually they use HP attack (in this case, Cor/Minwu/Sherlotta's HP attacks are good).
Since there is a switch between phy/mag reduction in this phase, I just use Sherlotta to sort of ignore its existence. You can still see Cor not completely hitting HP caps on the second hit, but it is sufficient for pushing the threshold as close to 50 as possible and killing the tentacles while they are not resisting melee.

Note: I thought I wasn't able to push to 100% FG during summon so I got greedy with DPS instead. It appears that it is doable before they are 60%. This could have saved a cycle waiting for their FG reset.

From when their FG is above 60% until they finish their FT, I would advise watching closely at what CoD is doing and where your and their FG is at. They can easily pop FA, delay you and AoE HP attack you like a combo attack. Or they can delay you when their FT is over, and occupy the turns where their FG is 0-30%. They build it very fast and may reach 30% again when you have not even properly set up for your next FT.

From 50-69%, 0-29%:
Thess HP thresholds are free DPS time. No more additional reduction unless their FG has gone beyond 60%.
For the first set, I usually just let Enna Kros bomb it to below or close to 50%. If I get some lucky delays, Cor+Minwu can also push CoD to below 60%. Popping Brothers would push it to the next phase.

For the second set (0-29%)
It is usually the main BT time. I usually try to kill or nearly kill them with Cor (again, melee not resisted at this point). FR then BT with Jack G or BT then FR with Seymour. I have tried both. Both can obliterate Cod/tentacles. Jack has the advantage of being a melee character here, but Seymour has more collateral AoE dmg and is at full power.

I generally steer off FTing when their FG is above 60%, but I did kill them all with Seymour one time when that happened. So if you want to brute force it, you can. I just don't want to stack HP dmg up just to counteract the 60% penalty.
