Digimon Adventure (PSP, English Sub): Part 110: Crossover Dungeon 8/8: Grand Finale of the Leaders
9It turned out that Gankuumon, the intimidating Digimon that Tai, Agumon, and other Human/Digimon duos have encountered, was actually friend and mentor to Hackmon, as well as a member of the Royal Knights. He needed everyone's help with defeating a powerful force that threatens to destroy the Digital Field's spatial control core, which would be disasterous to multiple version of the Digital World and beyond.
All of the other leaders and their own Digimon managed to catch up to Tai and the rest. They were then surrounded by more enemy Digimon, so they decided they needed to split up into groups in order to still make it to the spatial core in time.
Here, you can use Tai to choose 2 of the other 6 leaders will go with him. This will make up your complete battle party for the fights ahead. I ended up choosing Daisuke/Davis & Taiki/Mikey, which gives means I have Magnamon and OmegaShoutmon/OmniShoutmon with Agumon.

With Tai, Hackmon, and the rest of your chosen team, they finally reach the spatial control core, only to be forced to fight a Fake WarGreymon!
Just like the other fakes, this Fake WarGreymon has access to Ultra Conter, but ALSO this time, he can attack up to THREE TIMES IN A ROW!
Magnamon's Light Aura Barrier and OmniShoutmon's DEF Charge Omega will help to keep the party buffed... IF they used them, that is, though at least both of your Supports will still have Giga Heal +.

With the Fake WarGreymon beating, Hackmon rushed to the core.
But then the Fake WarGreymon came back... along with all of the previous fakes that Tai and his friend had already defeated!
But this didn't stop Hackmon. He used all of his powers to defeat them! It was enough to knock him out...
But when he came to, he woke up surronded by all of the heroes... This evil force was finally beaten, meaning the Digital World was saved. The leaders were all ready to go back home.
But before they could do that, Gankuumon gave them one last honor...
...To face HIM in one last battle. As a Royal Knight!

Gankuumon can hit pretty damn hard, and like the Fake WarGreymon you just faced, he can use Ultra Counter AND also attack three times in a row.
Sometimes he will use an epic sound attack called "Quake! Lightning! Fire! Father!", other times, he will instead use an attack literally called "Flipping Table In Anger". Guess what that looks like?
Even if your Support Digimon aren't using Giga Heal +, make sure that Tai's Digimon still uses that himself.
Gankuumon is the absolute final boss of this entire game! You beat him, and the game will finally be over!

After a long-winded battle, the leaders and their Digimon came out triumphant against Gankuumon. It was finally time for them all to go back home to their own universes. But at a cost...
The moment they all go back home, they will not retain any memories of meeting each other in this Digital Dungeon, for it would disturb the order of the Digital Field itself. It will be as if they were never brought here to begin with.
Taichi, alongside Daisuke, Takato, Takuya, Masaru, Taiki, and Taigiru, had bittersweet feelings about having to go their seperate ways...
But ultimately, they believed that they and their Digimon will all somehow see each other again someday. That much, they promise.

After beating this game, you unlock a New Game Plus, where you get to play through it all over again while keeping all of your stats, levels, Digivolution levels, items, materials, recipes Digipieces and Skill Panel sizes from the very start, which means you can use WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon as soon as your first fight against Kuwagamon on File Island. You also unlock one extra normal Digital Dungeon that's even harder than the previous one not related to the anime crossovers.
As one more bonus, you can even access Omegamon/Omnimon, now. You have to have Agumon & Gabumon as WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon, then you can select the option from either one of them to use Omnimon. Whichever component you used to initiate this fusion will retain their Skills and stats as Omnimon for the fight. He's basically your God Mode character.
But... Right now, I'm pretty much done with this game. It was a very long playthrough to go through, and the crossover Digital Dungeon episodes definitely worned me out.
