Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Part 87: Queen's Key & The First Day of Prison
2Ouroboros finally got into Agnus' Li Garte Prison Camp and found Ghondor. She turned out to be Monica's aggressive daughter who actually refused to help them save Aionios.
Sometime after Ghondor's big staged fight, Noah wanted to talk to her again on why...

Talk to some of the NPCs. They'll reveal that Ghondor's violent nature actually helps to keep the peace in the prison. The guards refuse to lock her up in solitary, lest an uprising breaks out against them.
There are Nopon in here, too, with one of them giving you a cute little quest called "Lost Stones".

When they talked to Ghondor, according to her "now" that they didn't want Ouroboros to "kill", she wanted them to lay low and also not let the City get too invovled with the escape plan. She wanted to minimize the inevitable deaths of excecutions as much as possible. To her, just having tens of deaths was better than having thousands.
She also didn't believe that Ouroboros would be able to set the world to rights in enough time. They were all pretty late termers, ESPECIALLY poor Mio. Ghondor thought they were just serving themselves, but Mio thought otherwise. She mourned all of the times she had to send off the soldiers that had died by her team's hands, including possible friends...
Mio's worldview completely changed once Ouroboros got to the City... Seeing how much older people can get there to live out their longer lives... Seeing that precious baby and feeling its hand, and understanding how humans are supposed to be born compared to how Keves & Agnus births their soldiers...
This... is what Ouroboros wanted to keep fighting for. They disagreed with Ghondor that this was what they were trying to end. They were actually trying to end... WHY this kind of living has not existed for everyone else besides those that live in the City... and Mio just had a little over a month left to do this, with the rest of her comrades preparing to carry on her will on the day she dies.
This convinced Ghondor to finally give Ouroboros her brooch. It's actually a key to the Cloudkeep. The REAL Agnus Queen is currently sleeping there. This key resonated with Noah & Mio during their earlier fight, which alerted to Ghondor that she was meant to give it to them.

Ghondor still hated that her mother sent Ouroboros to rescue her, but now, she was ready to tell them her escape plan.
In three days, Agnus will hold a massive training exercise on Daedal Isle for its guards. Ghondor wants to use the reduced number of prison patroll to her advantage, and she was leading the charge for all of the rest of the prisoners.
Though... Taion & Eunie had a bad feeling about this...
In the meantime, Ghondor just wanted Ouroboros to keep in line with the guards and not get on their bad side, but when push comes to shove, she wanted them to "let them hear them ROAR".

Go back to your cell and take a rest. Prepare for your First Day of Prison. The next morning, go get your drilling by the guards.
Before that happens, Lanz & Sena have a poignant conversation with each other. Sena has lacked confidence in herself, and claimed that everyone else in the team had their headspaces together.
But Lanz admitted that he, himself, wasn't too confidence in himself, either. He already knew this about Sena, too.
However, he didn't necessarily saw that as bad thing. He saw that as an opportunity to grow and get stronger. Knowing how how Joran turned out, Lanz wanted to get stronger, figure out his life, and surpass Joran and his Moebius power whether or not others take notice.
This conversation just bonded Lanz & Sena further as friends. They just realized that they need to be more true to themselves rather than putting on a mask.

The prisoners' task for the day is to go out into the Perimeter Woodland, and gather 20 of an assortment of materials.
Suspicious activity is rewarded with DEATH.

From this point, on, just start picking stuff up from the ground outdoors.
If you want to fight the monsters, you can't use Interlinks.
Lastly, and most amusingly, besides Monica, any one of your Heroes can participate in these prison jobs. In my case, sorry, Fiona being there won't do anything to disrupt the plot.

Complete your quota and give it to the guard... and then he gives Ouroboros ANOTHER list of things to collect. And again, if they don't accept it, they get killed.
At least this automatically gets done. So then it's back to your cell to rest up for Day 2...
The guards really love to treat their prisoners as subhuman. How cruel... But they'll get what's coming to them soon enough!
