CODE Bunny: Axel Part 8: Soleil (Final Boss & Ending)
4Once again, this boss stage is right after Yliaster Core. As the final boss, I once against decided to make it into its own video.

Deep within the core of the Comet Yliaster's Core, Axel Loope finally managed to catch up to Dr. Soleil Lumiere, the the CEO of Lagos Hyperbolics.
Soleil has already done something to Lune... To Lucian, but doesn't explain what that is. She just let Axel know that he may or may not be dead now.
Soleil was being self-destructive, seeing her plan out to the very end, believing that nothing mattered anymore, that there was no such things as truths anymore. Only lies...
All she did see... was some kind of "Dream" that she aims to make true, and that "Dream" involved destroying everything she's ever known.
Axel has his own, dream, however, and that involves preventing Soleil's from coming true!

This final boss took me a longer time to try and beat as Axel compared to Hazel. If you're gonna spin yourself off from Soleil, you need to be careful not to fall off from the sides, or you'll side and have to start the fight over.

Eventually, thanks to the efforts of Axel Loope, Soleil, and her "Dream" was finally defeated. He refused to let her build a future that is only controlled by herself. It was now time for her to take a walk with Axel to go find his little brother, now known as Lune.
Axel believed everyone to be the "hero" of their own story, and believed he made took the right path compared to what Soleil has done. It's here that Soleil herself admits that reviving Melies wouldn't make her or him happy. He would not have his old memories of her...
Eventually, they found Lucian, or rather, Lune, as he wanted Axel to see him as now. However, Axel agree with this. He does know him as Lune, now, because he's moved on from seeing Lucian as he used to ever again. It was holding him back from growing his life, trying to imitate someone else's. He thanked not only Lune, but also Soleil, Igusa, Ralphi, and even Hazel (wherever she is) for realizing that it made him stronger to move on.
All of the corruption on Lune was thankfully cured, thanks to the Aethr on the Comet.
Soleil was still irritated, however. Her "truth" saw to her that the Past, Present, and Future were all in ruined and that there was nothing they can do about it, but what she didn't realize is that her own delusions of this caused her to try and rob others of fulfilling their own futures, at the cost of not trying to see to her own. In a way, this made her and Axel alike, but Axel realized that this was not the way.
To truly establish his growth, Axel announced that he now WILL, in fact, become a world famous Ice Skater, just like he originally planned. That is his own "Dream" to achieve. His own "Truth".
Soleil, for all of his crimes, was ready to allow Axel to show her this "truth" that he believes in, so that she may believe in it, herself...

Thanks for watching this Axel playthrough of this game. It wasn't as easy for me to figure out how to use Axel instead of Hazel. Sometimes I feel like I was using him wrong. Hmmm...
Right now, this version of the game came with new modes to take on, including a Boss Rush with both rabbits. Beating them will give you new moves to use with them, and even a super hard extra boss.
