DmC reboot - Glitches/Bugs - Unpatched Specials pt.03
1Mundus battle, getting into the building before everything else happens. It's not quicker in every sense, but you can.
- so just glide until dOnte reaches behind the building where vergiN should appear, it's easily recognised by the collapsed interior. (I chose to start flying after the first grapple point to free up the camera)
- start infinite jumping to get to the top of the building, which is also part of the invisible wall/boundary in the area. From there, you should be able to see a cuboid block and a flat shape floating in the distance.
- avoid the flat shape, that's the cracked window panel that dOnte should crash into in the cutscene. Getting too close and the game loads dOnte into the building without vergiN and you get stuck because of dOnte's pathetic swipe against a wooden board, which i should admire the occupants of the building to actually put them up in fear of that giant, building tearing monster to break in via their tiny doors.
- alternatively, you can get into the other side of the door and the building's collision should load. However, the hallway to the next section somehow does not. It keeps disappearing whenever dOnte gets near. But you can stinger through it and get yourself a softlock.
- alternative alternatively you can get on top of the building and proceed from there. The same unloading of collision happens near the entrance to the hallway but you can stinger through it as well. Just that in newer testings, the building unloads afterwards. SO this is the only time i've ever reached the end of the building. Dunno how.
- anyhow, chose the wrong thing to do and got another softlock.
P/S: If you knew the area pretty well then i guess you could just infinite jump from underneath the building.
