something something in the video:

- in one area in the south pole chapter where the enemies lined up for an unskippable mini-cutscene leading to a battle, Korra can land some attacks on them. I managed to freeze one, kinda screwing up their dramatic entrance though.

- another instance in the portal gate. The currently unbeatable enemies serve for a mini combo point farm I guess. Should've tried with Avatar mode...

- the last clip is, well, regarding lock on. Basically when Korra rides on the air sphere thingy, it messes with the targeting system. The camera will get fixed to a roughly unspecific location regardless of where the enemy is. Well at other times it just failed to target, despite spamming on the L3/L-stick.

==================================================

I didn't expect much outta this game, & i am pessimistic bout all sorts of things, but for all it's worth... something something in my mind:

Slightly unresponsive controls & a bad camera makes the combat feel even more sluggish than it is. The boss battle (as there is only one) revolves fully on counter ~ button prompts ~ Dragonball Z animation ~ repeat, OR chip pathetically at its life. Korra also seems to not have invincibility in situations where I think she should have.

The control's a bit of a mess. Switching elements with the shoulder buttons feel wrong. So is items with d-pad, where if buff accessories are equipped, they don't require switching/activating, wasting a very good use of the pads. Lock-on with the L3/L-stick basically means I have to stop moving to toggle it on/off, which breaks the flow for me, adding more to how sluggish the combat feels. & there's something bout the double-forward special moves execution method that makes me feel like I'm aiming blindly.

An interesting mechanic, a guard cancel, becomes obsolete real fast as Korra becomes stupidly overpowered near the end. Also exist is the same issue with Remember Me where Korra might need to dodge or block very frequently, usually mid combo, breaking the flow even more. The charge-to-boost-chi only adds to the damage output & nothing more, and the overall battle becomes a question of what element is best used when. And on the occasional mini-boss moments, all elements offer no significant difference between them, only preference.

It's understandably similar to Revengeance... which i didn't like as much as I wanted to.
