DmC reboot - Glitches/Bugs - Verginity pt. 1/4
apparently i've been playing vergin a bit too "normal" before this to have overlooked so much. currently i've 4 vids on vergin's downfall glitches & technical issues & what not. this part one of the half-arsed excuse of a quadrilogy is more or less bout exploration, stuffs that i admittedly lack the knowledge to get excited much, but a bit interesting nonetheless.
- certain battle area's have weird boundary where the game registered you as has fallen off. & at times they respawn you at somewhat "off-road" locations.
-- some area however, permits you to leave even further, leading to enemies dying by "environmental" hazard, with or without the map unloading. if vergin doesn't fall down interminably or is respawned, then the rest of the enemies will not spawn & consequently every trigger(s) thereafter. mission "heartless", the penultimate battle is a good example.
- i've been going a bit more OOB in an effort to clone the doppelganger in an industrial scale, but i dunno what happened this time or last time, that i just cannot recreate that glitch... watch?v=cDj9QdVTc08&t=12m27s
-- but i do notice doppelganger's sporadic reaction to falling, mostly when OOB. sometimes it "dies" on falling, sometimes it falls repeatedly, sometimes respawned "dead", sometimes went missing & gotta summon it again that lazy paint blob of a body double.
- mission heartless, i restarted the level & somehow i can pass through the trigger for the 2nd battle, completely skipping it. i don't suggest lingering though coz the trigger will be active a bit later or if you portal back in. fortunately (or unfortunately), everything else goes on normally. tested on VMD & HoH, & can restart as early as when you start the level. i didn't show the restart level part coz i was testing some other stuff at the time.
//misc;
- the fast travel method, i so dub, can clip through enemies. no surprise i guess.
- somehow i manage to get doppelganger to fall at the same speed as vergin during helmbreaker. then again, isn't it actually that way? dunno, can''t remember.
- if you angel lift to enemies standing on the edge, sometimes vergin assumes the (standing up/climb ledge) animation in midair. this should be featured in the technical episode but i didn't revise this. not much worth saying further.

i mute the BGM coz the GoW-wannabe-soundtrack-but-with-clearly-lacking-quality-intensity-originality is very grating to my eardrums. those with BGM are some very very very old clips.
