Text File Description:
"Your efforts will be rewarded if you can complete this map with 100% secrets. Everyone fails the first time. If you never know failure, how can you know success?"

Well here it is. The reason I was interested in this wad in the first place. I had heard things about map 32, I saw the almost 19 minute WR time on DSDA, I heard it was based around a sequence of 32 secrets, I knew I had to try it. It did not disappoint, this is a work of art. A whole adventure wrapped up into one map. Every single trick and secret hiding technique gets used. I am honestly surprised there were no Wolfenstein SS or ghost monsters. Still, the creativity here is unmatched. We get to go back through the whole range of aesthetics from the wad in a devious marathon. It took me an hour and a half to figure out on the blind run, and it is an experience I wish I could relive. I loved every part of it. All the fake exits, and still frame pop culture references, and all the other little self aware jokes and references just makes me love this map and appreciate the work eschdoom put in to this. Probably too late to ask, but we need a return of eschdoom.
I was very intimidated of this map the whole time I was playing through the wad. I didn't know what it could possibly contain. I didn't know if I would be able to beat it at all. After the blind run, the pressure laid on even thicker. Not only would this map be incredibly difficult saveless, but I also felt a duty to get the record on it. I had to do this map justice and give it the performance it deserves, so that's what I did. Improved the time by about 25 seconds. I could definitely get it down further, but this is again a very time consuming map to run so I will be satisfied with this. I don't see anyone else trying to beat it anytime soon anyways. Still it is one of my proudest runs, and that makes my 7th unofficial record in Reloaded.

This is another great soundtrack selection by the DSDA, a perfect pairing. It gives the exact vibe that it needed. Makes it feel like a 90's movie training slideshow scene. Learning the route on this map required that I individually practice every segment of it, it felt like studying for a test, so I think it is very appropriate. At the very least it is inconceivably more appropriate than the music from Grosse that would've played otherwise. I don't think I could survive through 18 minutes of that.

This marks the end of Reloaded. As per usual, my final review for the wad is in the playlist description.
Off to the next project!
