Inspired by the Reading Gamebow group's Team Reading, I am playing Doom 64 bonus maps on ultra hard settings. What is ultra hard you may ask? Further inspired by Decino's Doom 64 play through, it is "Watch Me Die" difficulty with pistol starts, fast monsters, and no mid-level loading. This level, named "Thy Glory," is the "hell pit" themed map of the "Lost Levels" bonus episode for the Doom 64 remaster. I enjoy the tight corridors of this level quite a bit and I definitely used them to my advantage as much as I could. It's a longer level so mistakes add up and I died at various parts previously. I thought this try would fail too as I spent too much time trying to get the enemies to in fight and took too much damage in the process. Despite my armor being almost gone, I finished the stage with a good amount of health. Now it's time for the final judgement!
