Inspired by the Reading Gamebow group's Team Reading, I am replaying Doom 64 on ultra hard settings. What is ultra hard you may ask? Further inspired by Decino's Doom 64 play through, it is "Watch Me Die" difficulty with pistol starts, fast monsters, and no mid-level loading. This map is also known as "Holding Area". Due to pistol starting, the beginning of section was the hardest part of the map. Luckily there were a variety of monsters in which I could get them to infight and eventually I was able to escape with decent health.
