0https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/p-r/polygon Sleeper hit incoming, The Top 100 doom wads of all time was another inspiration for this series as I had always wondered what people considered to be the best wads of all time, This one I had decided on for my Cacoaward/Top 100 list special but I had run out of time and decided on Doom 4 Vanilla for it's spot so now its time to look at this single level pwad.
Also known as Polygon Base, Polygon.Wad was released on January 24rth 1996 and placed 7th for 1996 by Rick Lipsey, It's at techbase somewhere on Phobos, It doesn't look like much at first with its darkness and the grey techbase theme blending together, There's some creative fireblu usage and on above Hey Not Too Rough, This wad gives a good challenge, I like that in single player level wads because sometimes I've been burned by bad ones with no combat, But Polygon Base has the real ompth to it.
