0https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/bella2 Speaking of sequels, I had found this one back in 2020 and was planning to make it part of the summer of doom wads/mods, Season #6 but I decided to wait, It's a follow up to the original wad done by no less doom mappers then Paul Corfitias and Chris Hansen.
Bella II, released on December 22nd 2003, is perhaps one of the most interesting megawads I've dug up from the Doomworld I.D. Archive where I have found some of my least known material, Bella II is not your typical Megawad with it containing 35 maps, 5 Secret maps and another 3 bonus maps that were made as very hard to find easter eggs, a big flair and trademark of Paul, it's story is about "Destroying" John Romero and saving MassMouth so it feels like a spiritual successor to Massmouth by Mike Watson.
Bella II is also not built for the new players, It's maps were made with Hurt Me Plenty or Ultra-Violence difficulty in mind, Bella II loves it's cramped but playable maps and ammo famines all to a play and some of the secret maps have strange mechanics that only source ports can handle, I think despite the hard difficulty this is one of Paul and Chris' better works.
