https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/d-f/eventide Along the way I've been playing many single level PWADS in between episode filming and when a season's episodes are decided so I can gauge which I think should be covered, other times I approach a Single level PWAD and despite not knowing anything about it I find myself spending a few hours to try it on the 5 difficulty levels before filming as is the case of this 1997 wad.

Placed at 9th out of 10 wads for the top 100 wads of all time in 1997, Eventide or Hell's Eventide was released on the 2nd of August 1997 by Marty Ihlem, Travers Dunne (traversd) who would later work on Back to Saturn X, The Classic Episode and more, and Rick Clark (Wildman). The overall map is a brown brick building overrun with hellspawn and, almost like a page from Memento Mori II's later maps it plays quite differently from the other 1997 wads.

Ammo placement is a bit small so on the high difficulty levels you'll have to rely on infighting or using the trusty shotgun against mid-tier enemies up close when traps go off, and prior to filming RNG was really beating me up as chaingunners, yeah we know them, are downright.. evil at long range which is why I always prioritize them before other enemies even Baron of Hell because they are a fucking thorn in my back, ending was a surprise for me but wow, this 1997 single level pwad is one of the more creative I've come across over the years.
