No matter where you come from or what kind of gamer you are, you probably have seen or played Tetris in your life at one point, It started a craze on NES, on Gameboy, It was put on so many consoles and has had so many variants like Tetris 64, Tetris Effect's VR mode and so much more. It was natural that other franchises wanted to have spin-offs similar to Tetris, even the yellow ghost eater himself Pac-Man.

Pac-Attack was developed and published by Namco for the SNES but also Sega Genesis, Gameboy, and Sega Game Gear and released on October 10th 1993, Its a puzzle focused game that has several modes with single player being default, it's basically Tetris but here Namco added the gameplay mechanics of Pac-Man to it with those troublesome Ghosts appear along with the blocks, Also appearing is Pac-Man and this is crucial as Pac-Man will move in the direction he's facing and we need to eat every ghost that appears to move onto the next round.

You can either be your worst enemy or the best friend depending on how you stack the blocks and place the ghosts as there is times you are forced to place ghosts trapped under blocks forcing you to clear the blocks beforehand, Pac-Man can turn around once after he goes in a specific direction but he soon vanishes. As time goes on, the blocks move faster and faster and, I wasn't able to keep up as they got really fast, but for how simple it is, Pac-Attack certainly mimics Tetris to a T.
