Oh my... I've said that the Gameboy Advance has its share of bad and good games but towards the last years a lot of shovelware and "licensed" games were being released for the handheld system, Its this title that I had recently seen at a thrift store peaked my interest to do a episode of GBA Talk on it after only just realizing that Drake & Josh's last episode was in September 2007, and I find it hard to believe this game exists, none the less by THQ of people.

Developed by Artificial Mind & Movement and published by THQ on March 15th, 2007, and it's tough to generalize what this game's genre is with it taking many cues from Action-Adventure. Overall, the story is a disjointed mess following Drake & Josh suffering from Meghan's antics and trouble making ways.

Drake's sections are action/stealth where we walk to avoid being seen by hall monitors, teachers and webcams and I swear to god, I hate this game's stealth more than most other games' stealth sections as the "vision cones" of everyone aside from cameras is very hard to figure out and expect to be caught over and over again, while Josh's sections are more puzzle focused and based on getting past closed doors.

First of all, this game's password system is, to its credit yeah outdated for a 2007 release but only 4 digits is much better than over 5 letters or numbers etc, but the time limits are where I got very tired of the game as you have to clear these large maps within the time limit or you have to start all over again from the beginning of the current level, so I didn't get too far.

It certainly is something but alas, Drake & Josh on Gameboy Advance is another licensed game that doesn't do much to make the case that it's good, and instead lays in the shovelware pile with other games proving that not all games can be a hit.
