https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=66324 "I'm gonna paint the town red", As you've seen, Doom seems to have quite a few mods based on Blood, that ultra violent and gore laden build engine game that of all 4 major build engine games, had the least bad "remake" on Steam, and with this mod it was one I was watching for a long time on Moddb but it seems the mod was canned and the developer deleted both the download and it's moddb page though I did find another link on the Blood Wiki.

Originally released on March 26th 2018 by Liquid Football Studios, Blood Dead On Arrival is a 10 level concoction that mashes together Blood and Doom 64, not sure about story but it seems Caleb is on a quest to stop the resurrection of Tchernobog by both Blood's cultists and the demons of hell, and while I do find it a unique mod theres some issues that make it not as good as Re-Blood, Zblood or Zbloody Hell.

The first map overall feels like a tutorial map and I've explained in the past with Project Uber that overly long tutorial maps do annoy me and, to me, drag down the enjoyment. We start with our pitchfork like in Blood though it takes longer to bring down the Pinky demons and Imps who seem spongy in this mod, movement is solid despite the wonky feeling of sliding and swaying that is common in build engine games, and maps are well detailed.

However, Blood Dead On Arrival is greatly hurt by it's poor ammo placement as it always seemed my ammo was dangerously low throughout the mod, and later maps the explosives placement is low so there isn't much dynamite to toss at high tier enemies. It's a shame this mod was thrown out because it does have promise despite said issues, and at least the link provided gives viewers a chance to download it.
