Doom Wads/Mods #571:DUMP Episode 1

They've gotten a lot of praise but also backlash due to the concept of making a map as fast as possible then releasing after some polish. In a way I'm neutral as I want to see both sides of the arguement before I make a final decision going over a speedmap.
The first of the DUMP Trilogy, DUMP Episode 1 Fuck Time Limits was led by TerminusEst13 with Sgt. Shivers, Jimmy, LegoCS and several others creating 17 maps within 4 to 6 hours then testing them and was given a final full release on May 23rd 2016. The wad itself opens with a hub that lets us select a map from three areas of the Wolfenstein inspired castle hub we enter.
DUMP begins very rocky with some maps having agonizing enemy placement, poor ammo placement or some mapping choices that really got under my skin, while the secret map stands out as both impressive but very cumbersome. I find DUMP a good stepping stone for people who want to try speedmaps while also leaving enough creative differences to woo most players over.
