https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/eviltecc You ever get the feeling? That the wad you were going through never stood out or you just didn't think it was really that special even when you played it several times? I've had that feeling before but rarely has a Megawad given me that feeling like that since Mars War.

Authored by Nicolas Monti and released on January 2nd 2012, Eviltech Soul of Megawad is a 34 map megawad, According to the author the episodes that the maps take up are based on stops on the Buenos Aires subway stops though I never understood that. The maps themselves are unremarkable and show detail yes though the issue I had was none of the maps were flowing from one to the next making it seem like a new idea was begun after the previous level.

Ammo placement is good, though progression can be another issue as the path forwards can be trivial or somewhat unusual, I don't consider it exactly bad in any way, But Eviltech struggles to stand out among other megawads and by the end I felt unfulfilled after doing it three times prior to filming. Maybe there are fans out there.
