Doom Wads/Mods #564:ReMod A Map Collection
0https://www.moddb.com/mods/remod Moddb has proven invaluable to me just like Doomworld, the ID Software Archive by Doomworld, and several other sites in getting material for this series. I began 2023 by deciding originally on this as the finale episode for the Rejected special but going over it twice in a span of a week after some curiosity led me to add it here to Season 15 because the most unusual of files seem to bring my interest like a moth to a flame.
ReMod is a 102 map megawad which was put together by Daniel_Lemons and released on June 14rth 2020. According to the moddb page, This is Daniel's entire map collection since 1995 of his mapping abilities. First things first, Daniel's music choices in the maps can be unpleasant but I can see what they were going for, His mapping skills are certainly there though some maps do lack a good amount of health or ammo forcing you to take it slow. Aside from that, this map collection is a treat to see how a person's mapping can change over the years.
