"Damnation rises!"-Lucifer

Not my best Doom game, it was kind of awkward in a BH Doom Lane. One of us probably should have picked a support.

The fun ends HERE. Ironic considering I am playing Doom but you get the point. This was my first game of the Techies patch and of course someone on Radiant instantly picked them.

They proceeded to make Furion's jungle a nightmare with mines and wards, planted bombs in some devious places resulting in quite a few kills, in fact the Techies ended up with more kills than the enemy Juggernaut....

The solution to Techies is of course, Gem of True Sight! So plan to get that and being ranged helps so you can safely destroy mines. They're also really slow. The thing that is a bit hard to deal with can be Suicide Squad, if you close in on them at low health they can easily attempt it and take you with them.

I had some issues early game but when it came to the later stages I saw the ES coming and Doomed him ASAP when possible as well since..They didn't have a whole lot of AOE barring Treant and ES.

Lastly, it was kind of interesting both teams were rather good sports about it. No rage quitters, no blaming. Man that NEVER happens XD. So do Techies mark the end of Dota as we know it? Eh not really. Just get a Gem and/or sentries.

Unless you're going up against a veteran Techies player from Dota I imagine you'd be fine. They're slow movement speed wise and if you have gem they can't bring much to a team fight aside from Suicide Squad. They also have awful basic attacks.
