Draftosaurus is a bite sized game that is going to appeal to any Jurassic park fans out there. It is a game where players are aiming to build the best dinosaur zoos by drafting different species of dinosaurs from a select pool that is passed around the group. Players will need to decide firstly, which species of dinosaur they would like to collect, they will then need to consider the placement rules as influenced by the roll of the placement die and finally they will need to consider which enclosure will be most appropriate for their species of dinosaur.
The multi-layered decision making and levels of strategic thinking makes draftosaurus a meaty game that packs a huge punch. It's a great game that plays in a very short amount of time so it is a suitable game to play at the beginning or end of a game night. If you loved the Jurassic Park films and want to be like Sam Niell, Jeff Goldblum or even Chris Pratt, strap yourselves, in because this Jurassic Park is gonna take you on a ferociously bumpy ride!
The Board Game Sanctuary is a family friendly board game channel that aims to introduce the board gaming hobby to new and seasoned players in a light, fun and humourous way.
