Dragon Age: Inquisition [Nightmare difficulty] [Gameplay #10] - Live to Die Another Day
The story in DA:I doesn't grab me at all yet, but it's at least clear that reaching Skyhold after that tedious invasion of Haven was an important first milestone. DA:O took several playthroughs before I got a good grasp of the enormous task Bioware had set themselves in building a pseudo-Medieval society from the ground up and populating it with a wealth of interestingly flawed characters, but DA:I feels like a much blander type of high fantasy by comparison. Only DA2's refreshingly personal take on the Mage/Templar division immediately struck a chord with me, but that story was of course tragically compromised by poor design and rushed development. The DA:O and DA:I projects seem to have been allowed to grow organically in ways that few developers can ever afford, which comes off as a blessing and a curse in both cases.
