We are currently in the postgame. Previously, the party forged another Hero's Sword in the forge in Hinonogi Volcano. Now, they will improve it into the Best Hero's Sword using a recipe earned in Nerusen's Trials.

The Best Hero's Sword requires the Hero's Sword (not the True Hero's Sword), the Champion's Sword, two "Hihiironokane" items, two Great Dragon Eggs, and two Alexandrites. The party has the Hero's Sword, the Great Dragon Eggs, and the Alexandrites. The Great Dragon Eggs can be found in a couple of treasure chests: one in the Unforgettable Forest during the Sage's Trial and one in the Infernal Castle during the Hero's Trial. As for Alexandrites, there is a farming spot in the Unforgettable Forest, and the shop in the Town of Trials sells them. The party will work on the other items now.

To get the Champion's Sword, the procedure is similar to getting the hero's sword in Dragon Quest III. The party talks to the marked man outside the item shop (time 3:36). He needs some Orichalcum, which can be farmed in the Battlefield in the Sky. He will buy a piece of Orichalcum for 22,500 Gold. Then, he will begin working on the Champion's Sword. The party will have to come back a little later to get it.

As for the "Hihiirokane", Lizlett the ice witch will trade them for dragon eye stones. The dragon eye stones can be acquired from the Giga Demons in the northeast of Samadii Desert. They can also be found as treasures in a few places.

So, the party zooms to the northern camp in Samadii (time 4:49). Giga Demons can be found at the Wyrm's Lair in the northeast of Samadii (time 6:21). The dragon eye stones are a common drop, and Camus can steal them easily. He snags one right away.

After a battle, Ro reaches Level 59 (time 8:17). He gains 6 skill points for a total of 21. For 16 points, he picks up the claw ability "Liger Crash". This unlocks a new Renkei with Davilas.

Greg reaches Level 60 (time 12:25). He gains 12 skill points for a total of 28. In his new bottom skill, he spends 20 points on "Zaoriku", or Kazing.

The party zooms to Kreimoran (time 13:48). In the castle throne room, they talk to Lizlett, the ice witch (time 15:33). They trade two dragon egg stones, each for a "Hihiirokane" item.

They zoom back to Homura (time 17:36). They rest at the inn.

At the item shop, they pick up the Champion's Sword (time 19:20). It costs 35,000 Gold.

The party zooms to camp to get forging (time 19:44). They make the Best Hero's Sword (time 20:21). It is very hard to craft a better version of this. So, the party just ends up with a plain Best Hero's Sword.

For hammering out this sword, the party earns an accolade, and the player earns a trophy (time 21:58). Lovely!

Afterwards, the party zooms to Shikesubia Snowfields (time 23:23). In a battle, they work on getting a full party in the zone (time 24:22). This is in preparation for the boss battle against Evil Nedora.

The party returns to the Shikesubia camp to rest and save (time 29:07). Next time, the party will challenge Evil Nedora.
