Final Fantasy [GBA] Playthrough #26, Lifespring Grotto, Run 1, B11-B20: Omega
This is video #26 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy on the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. This game is part of the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls compilation.

Previously, the party began their first run through the Lifespring Grotto. They made it down to floor B10 and defeated Atomos. Now, they will work through the rest of the dungeon.
The party goes downstairs to floor B11 (time 0:12). This map is a town of dancer girls that likes to impede the party's progress. There are some references to Final Fantasy IX's references to Final Fantasy. Cool.
In the second part of town, they find another Silver Apple (time 4:00).
In the third area, they take the exit to floor B12 (time 5:11).
They continue down to floor B13 (time 7:07). Here, they find Dark Bahamut, who will challenge them to defeat a certain number of dragons of certain types. Some of the dragon types here are pretty rare or exclusive to this area.
After a battle, the party reaches Level 55 (time 13:31).
When the party talks to Dark Bahamut after killing the appropriate minions, he unlocks the way forward.
The party goes downstairs to floor B14 (time 17:43).
They get another Silver Apple here (time 20:14).
They continue down to floor B15 (time 21:41). This map is interesting. It's a flooded town that the party has to canoe through.
The party finds the exit to floor B16 (time 22:44).
They continue downstairs to floor B17 (time 26:31).
The party reaches Level 56 (time 27:58).
They descend to floor B18 (time 31:23).
They go downstairs to floor B19 (time 35:22).
Finally, they reach floor B20 (time 37:30). This floor has two nasty bosses, both from Final Fantasy V.
In the western room, the party challenges Omega (time 37:56). Omega is one of the hardest bosses in the game. It has Earthquake, which shouldn't be a problem if the party has Ribbons and such. Its physical attacks are very powerful. Its worst attack is Wave Cannon, which deals a ton of damage to the entire party. Be prepared to revive fallen party members. On top of all this, Omega has very high defense, so the physical attackers need Haste and Temper just to deal decent damage.
Upon its defeat, Omega drops the Murasame (time 57:29). Unfortunately, this katana is exclusive to the Ninja.
The party warps out to the surface (time 57:50). Next time, they will run through the Lifespring Grotto again for the other boss.
Thanks for watching!
