This is video #19 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy on the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. This game is part of the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls compilation.
Previously, the party got Smyth in Mount Duergar to make them the Excalibur. Now, they will go around the world and hunt down a few critters they missed getting in the bestiary.
They start out with some monsters in Yahnikurm Desert.
Afterwards, they go into the Mirage Tower (time 6:19).
While in there, they reach Level 48 (time 6:56).
They take the warp up to the Flying Fortress (time 10:13).
Soon, they reach Level 49 (time 13:34).
On floor 5F, they encounter the rare and lethal Death Machine (time 15:42). It deals a lot of damage, especially with its Nuke ability. However, it drops a ton of gil when defeated.
When they are done in the fortress, they head out with the Exit spell (time 17:10).
They return to Cornelia to rest. Next time, they will start on the game's optional challenge dungeons.
