The healthiest boss thus far. Erik has gained access to his new skill trees, which makes his offence superior to anybody else in the party, including Jade and Hendrik. The skill Divide, which Erik can reach now, lets him create two doppelgangers of himself, all three Eriks attacking on the following turn. This essentially increases Erik's damage output by 1.5 per turn, and the sword skill tree has a lot of really big attack boosts that let him reach the same level of raw physical strength enjoyed by the other two physical powerhouses, except Erik gets to exploit the Divide multiplier. Even with the boss's lightning weakness, Jade's DPS with her Lightning Lance forge pales in comparison to what Erik can conjure. Miracle Sword being the best short sword at this point of the game also means Erik will heal about a half of his max HP each time he attacks too, which means the support units will have a lot of "free" turns.

I keep Sylvando in the party for Oomphle casts on Erik and Hendrik and Hustle Dance still being unmatched as far as MT healing goes, Rab as the obligatory setter of Sap (using Blunt and Dazzle whenever we've got defence debuffing taken care of) and Hendrik for Kabuff and secondary healing when his attack is unbuffed and for Parallax when he's received an Oomphle from Sylvando. A Parallax is as strong as Erik's single Fatal Slash (without Divide) and can occasionally paralyse the boss for a couple of his turns in spite of his resistance to the status ailment.

When it comes to defence, the party is equipped with Papillon Masks for full paralysis protection and accessories that lessen dark damage, Erik taking the gloves for their deftness boost to prevent his attacks from whiffing (which will still occasionally happen despite his deftness being naturally high). The only attacks that will hurt now are the black breath (not sure if this one is dark-elemental), the normal physical attack and the MT crash, Dazzle assisting with the latter. It can still occasionally shock certain characters into not acting, but the paralysing breath is heavily scripted and prioritised on every attempt against the boss, which makes sense considering he will paralyse the party when defeated, causing Serena to enter. Our party is now complete for the endgame!
