Well this was a pretty dumb idea. I thought Spiked Mace would bleed him, but I should've checked the numbers beforehand. He is not immune but he has a really high bleed resistance. The Irithyll weapons (frost) would've been better but unfortunately you can't use them effectively before getting the Hunter Ring. I used a lightning infusion because I believe they take way more lightning damage than any other damage source, so it seems better due to how long the fight is
