DUKE NUKEM 3D MAPSTER32 STREAM (#05): Back In The Groove
13I`ve been terribly sick all week, so I didn`t make a Let`s Play thumbnail, but then I thought to myself, the last few weeks I really haven`t done a ton of mapping, so how about I give myself a break from playing and just do some creating? So let`s roll up our sleeves, hunker down, and see what creative level designs we can come up with in Mapster32? It`s a stream dedicated to level editing!
I ended up learning how to make a level more alive this stream, so a lot of this is semi-tutorial like. For those curious, I use a User Interface Mod for Mapster32 by Brullov, accompanied by a Config edit by Oasiz that allows me to select Sectors in 3D Mode. Links to these mods are as follows:

What we do in these streams is showcase user created content to show what kind of passion and creativity this niche community has crafted to show others what Duke Nukem 3D has to offer for any Retro Boom Shooter FPS lovers, or even old Duke Fans (like myself) who may have not dipped their toes into the user content world. Additionally, we take a look at how these 2.5D games create their 3D world from a level design perspective as I try to learn from those who came before me since I'm currently making a map of my own for Duke Nukem 3D using Mapster32, the included level editor for eDuke32.
