Let's Play Ark: Survival Evolved and get more early resources. Some of the first resource hits you will take are meat and hide. Both of them can be found off of any creature in the game. The catch is finding the right spawns, not taking unnecessary risks, and in some cases chasing down running dinosaurs.

But with the proper resources in hand, as well as continuing to level and build supplies, we can move into the next phase of the game: taming some dinosaurs to call our own.

What is Ark: Survival Evolved:
Ark is a game in the increasing popular survival genre that is currently in Early Access. The game has both PvP and PvE elements, where you can do standard things like craft items, build bases, and take on other players. The extra layer of Ark, and what makes it a bit more exciting to me, is that there is a substantially large PvE element as well that includes taming dinosaurs and dedicated end game content. Of course, because the game is in Early Access, it is always evolving and getting patched. But so far, WildCard, the developer, has done a great job keeping communication open and putting out updates. Plus, no zombies. Thus far, this feels like early access done right.
