The Ark: Survival Evolved PvP Server Wipe is real! It happened! And all hell isn't breaking loose. In fact, it's a GREAT sign of the developer stepping to the plate. In this video, I go over my Top 5 reasons why losing all of your stuff is a good thing for the long term -- even if everyone gets to keep their levels and respec their engram points.

Don't get on your high horse about paying money for early access. You can't have your cake and eat it too by asking to play a game that is not ready for release and then complain when the developer needs to do something to fix the game that breaks your save. What is Ark: Survival Evolved:
Ark is a game in the increasing popular survival genre that is currently in Early Access. The game has both PvP and PvE elements, where you can do standard things like craft items, build bases, and take on other players. The extra layer of Ark, and what makes it a bit more exciting to me, is that there is a substantially large PvE element as well that includes taming dinosaurs and dedicated end game content. Of course, because the game is in Early Access, it is always evolving and getting patched. But so far, WildCard, the developer, has done a great job keeping communication open and putting out updates. Plus, no zombies. Thus far, this feels like early access done right.
