Let's tame a dinosaur in Ark: Survival Evolved. You will need appropriate food, a blunt weapon to knock out the dino, something to keep it knocked out, and time. In this video I'll be going after the notorious Dilo (the ones that killed me last time), which, fortunately, do not take very long to tame.

Also, don't forget that if you have dinosaurs of the same species but opposite genders they will get a stat and damage boost for being near each other. The boost is significant. Something like 50%.

What is Ark: Survival Evolved:
Ark is a game in the increasing popular survival genre that is currently in Early Access. The game has both PvP and PvE elements, where you can do standard things like craft items, build bases, and take on other players. The extra layer of Ark, and what makes it a bit more exciting to me, is that there is a substantially large PvE element as well that includes taming dinosaurs and dedicated end game content. Of course, because the game is in Early Access, it is always evolving and getting patched. But so far, WildCard, the developer, has done a great job keeping communication open and putting out updates. Plus, no zombies. Thus far, this feels like early access done right.
