Honestly, I can't tell at all if this vid is gonna have any follow ups or if this is gonna be the one and only Graces vid on this channel...I admit I had my fair share of fun with this battle, but this was already all it took to remind me (and give me new insights) about why I'm not particularly fond of Graces' combat. The camera is a big middle finger to any spacing you do (and this early in the game, that aspect is kinda important), which becomes all the more fucked with two of those bears on the field. Spacing in general feels very weird to me in this game (or at least majorly different than in other Tales), and it's funny to see how I more or less went in a circle during the fight. And then there's absolutely adorable shit like the supposedly assured stagger hit after the red aura hitting the bear in the back instead at the front since Sonic Thrust's fucking hitbox seems to appear way more in front of the blade than it should, leading to the front bear suckerpunching Little Richard. Didn't happen here, and it can be avoided by proper spacing and crowd control, but good luck doing that with the awesome camera and the movement mechanics...It's a vicious circle.
On the other hand, I know how deep a lot of Graces' systems are despite some professional and hard working players claiming otherwise, and that there is a chance that I would enjoy the game. Also, seeing how Muctales is the only person to do a true no damage run of this game (#1=0) and with the fucking WORST character in the game at that, I feel like someone should step up some other mages' game (which maybe isn't even all that horrible since there can't possibly be anyone worse than Cheria, right? Oh who am I kidding, it's gonna be horrible either way). Anyway, I need to find out if it's fun to me or not, so yeah, no promises made (seems to be this channel's thing lately to find out wtf is fun to me...).
Also, I apologize to the people I converse with on Skype; that program has been a major bitch lately, almost immediately shutting down whenever I try to type sth. I tried out different solutions to this varying from clearing temporary files to re-installing the damn thing, but to no avail. That so-called reading and writing error still occurs, and that's the reason why I have barely been online lately and not able to answer most messages. If anyone has any solutions or hints, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance and sorry again, guys.
