You thought Wonder Momo is a silly costume? Singing your enemies to death is probably even dumber (but in this case, also satisfying).

It may not look like it, but doing this fight with the Haruka costume is even more difficult than with Wonder Momo. Why would I do that to me, you ask? Because I’m a goddamn masochist, that’s why (I guess)…Every single one of her four moves either has a stupidly long startup time, recovery time, or both. One neutral has her stumble on the enemy and it can also be used in the air. The other one has her singing notes, and funnily enough, every subsequent hit after the Do sound is considered an extension (of the neutral; who the fuck has extensions to their neutrals in this game? xD). Anyway, damage output is quite low for these moves, and the singing has absolutely infuriating recovery times – I only dared to do it once one Sylph was gone. And even then it’s as unsafe as it gets – you see all five hits stagger? Well, after every single hit, Sylph could’ve just decided to go “nope” on you and start casting Storm while Haruka recovers from using her wonderful voice (how is that even logical?). RNGeezus was being nice that day.

Her two Artes are pretty good concerning the damage output, but as mentioned before, recovery / startup times are an issue. Let’s Sing Together ♪ is absolute garbage in that regard; long startup time, weird hitbox which is not suited at all to hit the floating Sylphs (it’s possible, but you need ass precision for it to work), and a recovery time from hell. I really tried to use it, but to even find a good opportunity to use it safely against these two witches is not easy…In fact, it is NEVER safe since there is a chance of the Sylphs using their spinning attack right after the move, without you having any chance of evasion whatsoever. Pie Throw is definitely your more viable option, but even that move doesn’t save this battle form being total hell. Even if I start Pie Throw a frame or so before the red Sylph starts casting Cross Wind, I WILL get hit. Lemme just make this very clear to you: even if I initiate the move with the best startup + recovery time of this costume (maybe that stumble is slightly better, but lower damage output and being near the enemy nullifies it) during the enemy’s idle time, there still is a definite possibility that I will get hit. This fight is absolute hell with this costume, and even though it doesn’t necessarily show in the video, I hope at least some of you can grasp the self-imposed stupidity here…At least the MA does a good amount of damage, and with its numerous hits, you easily get yourself a 50% EBG bar after killing one of the two with it.

Oh yeah, and apparently, Storm can even be dodged by simply running…? According to Muc, it has multiple hitboxes depending on which direction the caster and the target are facing, but thanks to my gamepad’s malfunction, I couldn’t really look into it more. Anyway, it’s pretty unsafe to just run, but I just wanted to show that it is possible.
