Pop quiz: What is there to note about the criticals in this battle?*

Since Efreet has stupid properties that make lifting him, and in turn, comboing him properly impossible, I thought I should humiliate him. The Bishop costume's movepool is primarily suited for healing, but some staff neutrals and two Pow Hammer Artes are all you need for this joke of a boss. Ironically, the seemingly advanced Piko Piko Hammer does less base damage (60) than the regular Pikohan (80 base damage). However, it stuns enemies longer, enabling you to run up to Efreet and smack him with your staff. Also, the stars that Piko Piko Hammer creates immediately break an enemy's penetrate, but they do not stun nor do any damage. Looks like a decent effect for if you miss an attack, but unless Spell End (or whatever that skill is called that allows you to move immediately after casting) kicks in, you're fucked most of the time anyway.

Concerning passively offensive Artes, the Bishop costume comes with Sharpness (Wohoo.), but sadly no spells that increase Mel's movement speed or that decrease the enemy's speed. That means that you have to react to Efreet's attacks if you want to avoid damage and can't just cast whenever you want to. This becomes especially apparent when Efreet's HP drop below 50% since his idle time is drastically reduced, meaning that you have fewer options of safely casting Pikohan. As mentioned in one of the previous vids, you can just run past him if he does his special attack with the horizontal fire balls, but since the Bishop's Holy Wall eliminates all projectiles with its wonky hitbox, you can troll Efreet with that instead. Just watch your spacing since if you stay too close to him when casting it, you might eat a counter if you don't get lucky with Spell End. You can also eliminate Eruption's falling rocks / fire balls /whatevers with it, but since you need to evade the initial eruption anyway, it would be completely impractical and dangerous. At the very least, Holy Wall's casting time is damn good for what the Arte is supposed to do.

*Every critical hit in this battle is a physical attack directed at Efreet's non-existing balls. Did you expect something intelligent?

...I'm sorry.
