Endgame is a solid, but mostly unremarkable PS2 Lightgun shooter. All the lightgun games on the PS2 are pretty good, so Endgame, while solid, is probably the worst of them, but it's still worth playing. It's pretty no frills overall, but if you have a guncon 2, and a TV that will work with it, there's no reason not to pick this game up. You can play this game with a controller just fine, but it's not as fun that way.

Lightgun shooters really started to die in the 6th generation. The PS2 had the Guncon 2, while the Xbox had that really cool Silent Scope lightgun sniper rifle that you could break down into a smaller gun. The Wii kind of brought this genre back for a little while, because it was a work around to making them work on modern TV's.

This game has a 16:9 widescreen option, which is why this video is in 16:9. I used my Retrotink 2X Pro, and y-splitter cables to capture this footage. I have a multi-console s-video cable, so I plugged the s-video into the RetroTINK, and then y-split the composite video to my CRT TV to play the game.
