Quake II 64 (PC) Gameplay -Quake II Rerelease-
3Bethesda dropped a surprise remaster of Quake II on us the other day, and as with their remaster of the original Quake, you can play the N64 version of Quake II along with a visually remastered version of the PC version of Quake II and it's expansions.
Being able to play the game with a keyboard and mouse just makes the game so much faster, and the gunplay is way better now. The N64 version's gunplay had a more methodical intensity to it. It was good, but even the feeling of the gunplay in the PS1 port felt more like the PC version. Changing it to keyboard and mouse support really changes the dynamic of the gunplay in the N64 version in a good way. This is an awesome rerelease of Quake II. Bethesda, and Machinehead games know how to treat their fans.
