Robots are difficult.
Every single enemy that could be made tired is essentially trivial.
Apparently letting a tank hit you in the face 20 times is a pretty good way to recharge your Limit Breaks.
Lance is not that much of a difficult boss. Very difficult normally, indeed, but this "stratergy" makes this battle piss easy by destroying Neon Valkirie within 4 turns or shits, and Lance is literally useless by himself. Do note that literally every single bosses in this game can be cheesed to hell by aiming for a 1/2TK, which is fun. You should try to use it to not suffer against bosses, especially on Epic, and ESPECIALLY against the motherfucking Laurelin. Fuck that tree.
Fun story: 4 years ago when I was just barely a middle schooler and played this game for the first time, it takes me 2 whole hours to find where to proceed after getting the hammer (which is, like, a single tile to the left of the fortress' entrance. Good times, indeed. Past me sure as hell is a fucking idiot.
