Unlike most roguelikes, WWAD isn’t harsh on resets; each new character can benefit from investments made in the Gladiator school, which upgrades training facilities to reduce the cost and time needed to prepare for battle.
As you rise in fame, you’ll unlock new perks and permanent upgrades to speed up the growth of your next gladiator. The game teaches you not to get too attached to any one character and to always look forward, making each new run feel fresh and rewarding.
