I am excited to share some new details about Escape From Tarkov. This is only scratching the surface, so much more to come. Among all the hype for Escape for Tarkov, I have heard lots of people who are cautious and warning others about pre-ordering this game. They also feel the game may not live up to all the hype. This is due to the fact, that the game has seemingly come out of nowhere.

But in fact, Tarkov is a very familiar place to myself and over 45 million players worldwide. Tarkov one of two cities in the Norvinsk region, of this Post War Russia of the Russia 2028 game universe. It is home to maps from the Browser Based FPS Contract Wars, developed by AbsolutSoft, the sister company of Battlestate Games Studios, the developers of EFT.

Contract Wars is the foundation of experience, and resources that made Escape From Tarkov, and the entire Russia 2028 Universe possible. It, and Battlestate Games have been around since 2012 when EFT began development. This ambitious project has been kept secret since 2012. The developers had in mind, to create a real, true to form survival game unlike any on the market. The team are very skilled, and experienced. They even have military consultants who can't even show their face. #onlyinrussia2016

This game is more than hardcore. No HUDS, no checkpoints, which means no respawns, no fancy trickshots, no joke. Wanna know how many bullets you got? Memorize, or pop the clip, and receive a quick ammo count on screen--but that 2 seconds, is the difference between life and death. Stealth is something to learn well, you never know when Scavs are lurking about. No loud noises, screaming. No allah hu ackbars, or other craziness--because the louder you are, depending on how close you are, the enemy can, and will hear you with the integrated VOIP system.

A couple of new and exciting features, will revolutionize the survival, even the FPS genre. Normally, to run, most games bind to the left shift. To crouch, is usually bound to the C key. In Escape from Tarkov, it will be kinda different. To run, you will hold ctrl, and scroll your mouse wheel, to change from a faster walk, or jog, to full out sprint. They have tried to eliminate, the sliding that happens when your character walks, and giving you the ability to see your own legs. I mean, who doesn't like to be able to see the new cargos they ganked from another player?
