Developed by Julien Bartholini, Invitationem is a gorgeous short puzzle point & click horror game that leaves you stranded with your car in the middle of nowhere. Your only chance is a lighted house in the middle of the woods but no one seems to be home - or maybe, no one wants to be seen … not yet.

This game combines both classic gothic horror and haunted house atmosphere with some modern twists. The story itself feels a little like classic Hammer Horror but our character’s sass as well as some of the visual choices are fairly modern which is the best of both worlds. The puzzles are very nice, I never got stuck but still needed a few tries (but that’s also because I am bad with puzzles). All in all, I had a lot of fun.

For the puzzle solutions - I think the puzzle results are randomized, I am not sure whether for all or just a few puzzles. But I talk about it enough to show how I got to my results, so you can get the gist for them.
