While hiking up a mountain to another well-known mine site, I found this abandoned mine not far from the trail. It features a downward sloping tunnel that goes far into the mountain. There were a few drift tunnels off of the main tunnel. A collapse blocked the main tunnel deep in the mine, but the collapse was passable. I chose to turn around at that point and head back out. Once outside, I found another mine entrance not far from this one.
